 2. HEALTH INSPECTIONS

Below are the inspections done by the Environmental Health in Tonota Sub District :

  • Business inspections
  • Water sampling
  • Food sampling

Compliance monitoring using Acts e.g. Public Health Act

  • Investigation of food poisoning cases
  • Investigation of waterborne outbreak

3. PEST CONTROL

There is a charge for pest control: P10.00 PER ROOM

4. ABBATTOR

The sub council oversees the abattoir and time taken between receiving animals and time of collection of carcass is 1 day

Quotas are issued for 10beasts per day and 5 small stock per day and from there meat inspection is done by the department of veterinary service
